Bricen Sears - President
Bricen was born and raised in Bancroft, Ontario. He graduated from North Hastings High School in 1999.
Bricen pursued a post-secondary education and graduated from Loyalist College in 2002 with a diploma as a Construction Engineer Technician. Bricen spent the next 2 years working for a high end bathroom and kitchen retailer where he extensively grew his product knowledge and expertise.
Bricen came to work for Warren & Co. in 2004 and began his plumbing apprenticeship immediately thereafter. Bricen completed all the mandatory requirements for the plumbing apprenticeship program and received his Certificate of Qualification in May 2007.
Bricen is dedicated to continually upgrading his knowledge base. He became a certified Rinnai Tankless Water Heater installer and serviceman in 2007, obtained his G3 gas licence in spring 2008, completed the Basic Hydronic Heating course in spring 2009, and completed the Veissman Condensing Boiler course in summer 2009. Bricen also holds his G2 gas technician license which he completed in 2017.
Bricen now resides in the City of Quinte West with his two Bassett Hounds (Buford and Lily). In his time off he can typically be found with his partner Amanda and her daughter Adriana. When Bricen has spare time he enjoys trying to play his beloved guitars, and he can be spotted fishing - trying to catch the ever elusive catch.
Bricen purchased Warren and Company in March 2020 after working at Warren and Company for the previous 17 years. Bricen plans to continue to offer the same values and quality of work Warren and Company has become known for as well as building upon the strong foundation he has been taught from Warren.
Warren Price - General Manager
Warren was born in Kirkland Lake and raised in Kitchener, Ontario.
Warren joined the Canadian Army, RCEME Core, in June 1965 where he completed the required training and was qualified as Vehicle Mechanic Wheeled Group 1. He was honourably released in June 1968.
Warren then pursued a career as a plumber in Calgary, Alberta. In October 1972 he received his Certificate for Plumbing and Gas Fitting and worked for other businesses until December 1975.
Warren was an Inspector/Conciliator with the New Home Warranty Program in Edmonton, Alberta from January 1976 to May 1977 when he decided to become a service co-ordinator for Nu West Homes. After about one year in that position he was promoted to Construction Superintendant building approximately 50 homes per year.
In 1980 Warren and his wife Mary started, and operated two successful businesses in Edmonton (Smart Homes Ltd. and Warm Home Insulation Ltd.) until April, 1987 when they decided to move back to Mary's home town of Trenton.
Once in Trenton Warren was hired as General Manager of the housing division for a major commercial business in Trenton building homes in Trenton until June 1990 when the housing industry began to slow down.
Warren and his wife, Mary, began Warren & Co. Contracting Ltd. in June 1990 and have enjoyed working together since that time building a very reliable, friendly, and honest business.
The various Certificates that Warren holds are: Master Plumber; Plumber; G.2 Gas Ticket; Water Meter Installer; and Rinnai Continuum Water Heater Installer. He has also completed the following with the Construction Safety Association of Ontario: Basics of Supervising; Basics of Fall Protection; and WHMIS in Construction.
Warren is also Chairman of the Renovation Committee with the Quinte Home Builders Association.
Warren enjoys spending his spare time at his cottage in Carlow/Mayo Township snowmobiling, four wheeling, and fishing.
Mary Price - Secretary/Bookkeeper
Mary was born and raised in Trenton, Ontario. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1974.
Right after high school and until January 1976 Mary was employed by Morton-Parker Ltd., Trenton.
In January 1976 Mary moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she worked for the New Home Certification Program of Alberta and then Block Bros. Realty Ltd. In June 1984 Mary joined her husband, Warren, with his two businesses (Smart Homes Ltd., and Warm Home Insulation Inc.).
Mary moved back to Trenton, Ontario in April 1987 with husband Warren and worked three years for a land developer in Belleville and then 26 years at West End Dental Centre, Trenton. During this time she also worked part time for Warren & Co, and now works only for Warren & Co.
Like Warren, Mary also enjoys her time at their cottage, travelling to Cuba, line dancing, yoga, and going for walks.
Cody Adams - Team Member/Apprentice Carpenter
Cody was born in Belleville and raised in Brighton. He graduated from Loyalist College in 2017 with a diploma in community and justice services. Prior to working for Warren & Co. Cody enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces where he completed the necessary qualifications within that field.
Cody also worked as a child care therapist where he gained extensive knowledge and certifications in substance awareness and abuse, and counseling and conflict management.
Cody is currently apprenticing under our lead carpenter and is steadily completing the qualifications to complete his carpenter trade.
Cody likes to spend his spare time hunting and fishing as well as enjoying the outdoors.
